Well, with yesterday’s big announcement that Google+ was finally available to apps users, I may have jumped the gun a bit. The only reason I had an @gmail account still was to connect to plus. Well, I didn’t go so far as to delete the account. But I did wipe it from my phone. Then I wiped my Google+ Android app memory, and tried to connect to my normal account, once I had plus all set up. Well, it’s broken!

Is all I get. After a fair bit of searching around, it seems I am not the only one. It appears that the app is broken for all Google apps folks. C’mon Google, we are so close finally! I personally only use plus on my phone, so this is kind of a letdown.

Well, this worked perfectly for me. It’s a 2.0 version of the Google+ app for ice cream sammich. I’m only on froyo, but it worked perfectly for me. You can hit up that link, and click the QR code link to pop it up. Give that a scan with Goggles or whatev, and you should be good!
