Rev. Voodoo

We’ll I’m sure at least some of you would love to see our wedding photo album.  And we’ve got good news for ya!  The full album is up online for you all to look at.  Head on over to our Wedding Website for the link to our photo album.  Joel Smith has done an amazing job, but we knew he would…he’s Canadian!  They got skills eh!  It’s set up so you can even buy copies of any pics that you really like!  How cool is that?  Check it out, let us know what you think.

Over the next few weeks, the Voodoo Empire won’t have much content posted here.  Rev. Voodoo and Ankhjii will be getting married, and probably just won’t feel like posting much here to be honest!  Things will be very busy.  We will try to get one more episode of the Mix of the Moment posted to keep everyone happy until things are back to normal!

OK, it seems crazy!  I can hardly believe it!  But, Ankhjii and I are getting married in a week.  Wow.  Time sure has flown by!  Guess we better get some of the details planned eh?

Lately, Our Wedding Services Site has received a fair amount of attention.  Rev. Voodoo has been booked through the site for several weddings.  So while we had to go about reinstalling the site, we figured we’d give it a fresh look.  So check out the new facelift it’s had, and don’t forget to recommend it to anyone you know in the planning stages!

It’s less than a month now until October 17th!  Wow, time has flown by.  Hopefully you have been keeping up with the details over on our wedding website. A whole lot of details have gone up on the site lately.  Most importantly there are links to directions and maps for ya!  Check it out.

For a little while things were pretty shakey.  We’d lost access to Angela and Jamie’s wedding site, along with the upload site.  Not to mention we had no access to our hosting at all.  Things are pretty much recovered.  All sites are restored, as is hosting access.  We’ve even managed to sneak in a little upgrade!  The blog page over on the Voodoo Empire main page is no longer a barebones rss import through an xslt fragment…. it’s a full & complete import from this blog.  That pretty much doesn’t mean too much to you, the user, except that we can keep that page more stylized and pretty!  Plus you can see photos and listen to music directly from the blog page without having to come here first! Yay, less clicks!  The only thing left to do now is wait to see if the Spam attack comes back before we declare total victory!

It’s been a while, but this weekend Rev. Voodoo has another Wedding to Officiate.  Should be a good time.  It’s been a while since the wedding services page was set up, and recently it’s been seeing a decent amount of traffic.  Matter-of-fact, we’ve actually had about 4 requests between Ankhjii and Rev. Voodoo that we’ve had to turn down.  One for July 3rd next year, which we’re already booked for, and a couple near this halloween, which is obviously booked for our own wedding.  But it’s cool to get the interest, it’s a few extra dollars in the pocket, but most of all, they are just fun to do!

It looks like we may be able to add another service to those offered by the Voodoo Empire.  Basic Wedding Photography!  We won’t claim to be on par with the very top photographers, but we won’t charge like them either.  Ankhjii has just shot her first wedding, and Rev. Voodoo took care of some traditional and not so traditional photoshopping.  Altogether the finished product is pretty darn good!  Samples will be online shortly!

I know there hasn’t been a lot of new content lately here from the Voodoo Empire.  But we’ve been real busy with wedding planning!  Don’t forget our wedding website AngelaAndJamie.com that’ll show you all the plans we’ve come up with so far.  It’s just over 2.5 months away!
