Been off work for a week and a half now.  The first day back is always hard.  Had a great trip to Canada.  Ankhjii and I got to spend some quality time in the homeland.  Spent a lot of time with family which was real nice.  The trip started off with my sister’s wedding.  That was quite a bit of work to get everything together, but it turned out real nice.  After the wedding she and her new husband were off to Disney, which sounds super fun….right up their alley!  Ankhjii and I got to hang out with some friends we hardly get to see which was great fun.  Then it was off to Niagara Falls which Ankhjii had never seen.  We really enjoyed that, but did so much walking we were beat.  Finally we were off to Toronto.  We did a fair bit of sight seeing and some shopping.  Then it was back to the hotel to relax and unwind.  It was a great trip, came home broke, tired, and happy!

Rev. Voodoo got to go and do a wonderful little wedding ceremony last night.  They wanted a simple, shorter ceremony.  Sometimes the short ones can be pretty hard to write.  I mean, it’s a wedding…. it’s gotta be meaningful, but you gotta fit all the meaning into so few words.  The new bride and groom were happy with the results, which makes me pretty happy!  They wanted to have their ceremony before the groom gets deployed in a couple weeks with the Air Force.  I was happy to be part of this, I had a great time.  Congratulations to the lovely new couple, and thanks for keeping us safe!

Over the next few weeks, the Voodoo Empire won’t have much content posted here.  Rev. Voodoo and Ankhjii will be getting married, and probably just won’t feel like posting much here to be honest!  Things will be very busy.  We will try to get one more episode of the Mix of the Moment posted to keep everyone happy until things are back to normal!

OK, it seems crazy!  I can hardly believe it!  But, Ankhjii and I are getting married in a week.  Wow.  Time sure has flown by!  Guess we better get some of the details planned eh?

Lately, Our Wedding Services Site has received a fair amount of attention.  Rev. Voodoo has been booked through the site for several weddings.  So while we had to go about reinstalling the site, we figured we’d give it a fresh look.  So check out the new facelift it’s had, and don’t forget to recommend it to anyone you know in the planning stages!

It’s less than a month now until October 17th!  Wow, time has flown by.  Hopefully you have been keeping up with the details over on our wedding website. A whole lot of details have gone up on the site lately.  Most importantly there are links to directions and maps for ya!  Check it out.
