Rev. Voodoo

First the Voodoo Empire would like to announce that the www.RVoodoo.com to Voodoo Forums update is complete.  And now anyone who has ever registered on this site was automatically given an account on the forums.  Your password should be the same.  But what works better is when you are signed on here and you open the Forums page you should be already logged in.  Also, updates from the Forums are included in the sidebar on this page now, you can click any of them to go right to that topic.  And finally, all appears to be well on the Forums, everything is healthy and functioning! 

As always, we are constantly trying to make the site easier to navigate.  The most recent changes should help that a little.  First off, some of the category names have been changed to try to make them more descriptive.  With that, all posts have been sorted so that they are only in one category.  Mostly that keeps the layout pretty, but it should also help keep navigation tight.  The second modification made for navigation is at the bottom of the page.  Previously there were only ‘Next’ and ‘Previous’ options, meaning that to find a specific post readers may have had to navigate numerous pages using those tabs.  This has been changed to page numbers  to help jump through posts a little more quickly.

Fresh off the presses here at the Voodoo Empire is the relaunch of DJ Odawa’s website.  After the last upgrade, the template wasn’t behaving too well.  So rather than a fix it job we decided to revamp and relaunch.  We hope you will have time to check out DJ Odawa’s brand new site.  It’s not complete yet, but it is quite functional, and it’s lookin good!

It’s getting to be that time again. I know we just recently upgraded Wordpress here at www.RVoodoo.com, but another upgrade has just been officially released. After reading the documentation and checking out what others had to say, it looks like a good one with many valuable tools. So here we go again, upgrade time. Keep your fingers crossed and hope this goes as smoothly as the last one!

And again, we have success.  This one was a little more difficult but I think that was due to my work computers.  All is well in the Voodoo Empire once again!

The all new www.RVOODOO.com bumper stickers are in! These are high quality, professionally made and quite sexy looking in the Rev.’s opinion! In case ya care, they were made online at makestickers.com. Next up will be designing Voodoo Forums stickers. Next time you see your friendly Reverend ask for one!

OK, all 3 sites I am hosting right now (Rev. Voodoo, DJ Odawa, and The Voodoo Forums) have been up and down for 2 days. It appears to be a server side issue. I am going to be working with my server folks to find out the trouble. Until then, I apologize for the downtime, and the slow load times. But try to have fun ya’ll! Much Love!

Just so ya’ll know, as I’ve just made this change.  Any of the thumbnail pics on this site, either in the column or in any posts can be clicked on to view the photo  in large size.  Neat eh?

DJ Odawa’s website just launched. It’s gonna take a little bit to get it up, functional, and musical. But you will wanna keep your eyes on it. www.djodawa.rvoodoo.com is the link. It’s also over in my link section!

After a lot of work, the switch is finished!  I’ve relocated my server from Windows to Linux based.  Although I have more options on Linux based, I am far less familiar with what I can do so things take time.  The basic layout of the site is finished, but I will be adding functionality.  I am not even sure what I’ll be adding, we’ll see together!

You are now able to sign up for this site.  That way you can add posts and comments.  And I can also easily notify you of cool stuff, or when the Rev. is playing out somewhere. 

Next up, I need to update the top of the page.  The current art looks pretty cool, but it’s not mine.  I’d like to change that sometime soon.
