Rev. Voodoo

Hey folks, we are in the process of changing over our forums entirely.  Unfortunately everything from the old forums will be lost.  So when we do throw the switch, everyone (who isn’t already a member of http://www.rvoodoo.com) will have to sign back up.  We will be starting over entirely.  For the time being, both forums will be operational…..so we’d appreciate anyone giving this new forum a test drive, and letting us know if they come across any issues.  The theme isn’t quite finished yet….. so you’ll come across some areas with default colours, etc….but that’s no biggie, it’ll get fixed as time allows!  The direct link to the new forum is http://www.rvoodoo.com/forum.

Well, Rev. Voodoo has a brand new new Voodoo Forums setup, and is considering a full launch of it.  It can be found here.  Or just by clicking the word forums up in the text navbar on every page.  It’s tightly integrated with this site which is kind cool.  Thing is, if I do the switch, the old users and posts won’t be here.  This forum will be a brand new start.  I think my database over at the old forums might be corrupt…if that is the case, it’ll pretty much force my hand and I’ll close the old forum and open the new one.  Check them both out…see what ya think.  (Note, the old forum doesn’t have our custom Voodoo Empire theme on it at the moment, I’m having a hard time with admin functions).  If you feel like posting in our forums, go ahead and use the new forum…..

Sure, we’ve had quite a few Deadmau5 mixes up here.  But they are all so enjoyable.  And Rev. Well, here’s tha backstory.  A couple years ago Rev. Voodoo was searching the google machine to see what all Rev. Voodoo and Voodoo Empire sites had been indexed.  And he came across http://reverendvoodoo.com.  However, this site wasn’t part of The Voodoo Empire, it belonged to some other guy.  So we checked it out, and checked out where it was hosted and then put down a backorder fee on the domain name.  Then, totally forgot about that.  And after a couple of years, whoever owned that site didn’t renew it on time, and it was automatically transferred to The Voodoo Empire!  Cool!  It is currently set to forward to The Voodoo Empire main page, until we decide if it needs it’s own page, or if forwarding is enough.

After launching the new Voodoo Empire homepage, and adding a filesharing service skinned to match, Rev. Voodoo thought it might be cool to build up a new theme for his blog.  That is what you are looking at now!  It still needs some tweaks here and there, but it’s near complete!  It fits in real well with the overall Empire feel.  Now that this site is upgraded, the previous theme will be released to the public very shortly!

It’s time to launch the new site!  It just went live 5 minutes ago, and I pretty much love it!  I’m sure I’ll want to tweak a bit of the css as I look at the site a bit, and I would love to add some more complex functionality to it….but the main portion of the site is done!  Some people may not care for it so much….but I’ve got a certain style, and the design fits me quite well!  Why not check it out here and let me know what you think?

Rev. Voodoo actually owns the FlipMono Camera listed here, the VGA cam, and it’s amazing.  I can’t even imagine how cool the HD version must be.  This has gotta be one of the handiest cameras ever.  Now the Voodoo Empire is very happy to be able to offer you this cool line of cameras featuring our newest logo design and the url of this site.  We offer the standard VGA model, which is super cool enough, but we also offer the new upgraded HD version.  How fly is that?
