The Voodoo Empire

House Records For Sale

Posted by Rev. Voodoo under Empire News, Music

Rev. Voodoo finally got around to compiling all his vinyl.  The first lot up for sale is my House and related (ie: non DnB-tech, techno, progressive) sack of vinyl.  It’s a lot of 36 records, plus bag if you want the bag.  I’d prefer not to part out the collection if possible as I’m trying to offload the whole collection.  I’m in need of cash, and space in my house.  I may be renovating soon to rent the house out.  There are some serious collectibles / hard to find items in here.  I think the collection has some from back in 94ish.  It’s pretty heavy on the Frankie Bones and that style, but that’s how I do it.  Starting price is $70, make me an offer!  List is below:

misstress.jpg Misstress Barbara is one of Rev. Voodoo’s favourite DJs, and has been featured by the Voodoo Empire here several times.  But this mix is near and dear to our hearts.  It’s from the 2007 Movement / D.E.M.F. festival in Detroit, MI.  Several members of the Voodoo Empire were present for this set, and the picture shown here was taken by Ankhjii.  The quality isn’t so great on this recording, but the set is great.  Enjoy!

misstress.jpg This weeks Mix of the Moment selections is another pick from Misstress Barbara.  Another tasty techno selection from the Misstress.  It’s been stuck in Rev. Voodoo’s car for a week, I think you are going to like this!  Check out Misstress Barbara live from the Coktail Club in Stockolm, Sweden back on April 14th, 2007.

It’s that time once again! Time for another episode of the Voodoo Empire’s Mix of the Moment. And this time we have a serious Techno treat! The Rev. absolutely loves this fellow Canadian. And this time she serves up a great set from the Awakenings Festival in Eindhoven over in the Netherlands. Many apologies for the small sound glitch in the middle of the mix. The mix was found in 2 parts and Rev. Voodoo had to splice the halves together using his miniscule audio engineering knowledge. Now give this one a spin and enjoy!
