Rev. Voodoo

It’s been just over a week since Rev. Voodoo started working dayshift.  That’s right….dayshift…..after 12 years!  So far, I’m surviving…..but it’s pretty strange keeping these kinds of hours!  And now I’ve actually got things to do at work, which sure cuts into my design time!  But I’ll still find time for my projects!  I may have to begin doing my design work at home!  Horrors!  On that note, keep your eyes peeled for a full relaunch of the Digital Dissent website.  We are planning a full relaunch of the main webpage, to cater to a successful multimedia business design, along with a launch of the DigitalDissent blog!  It’s pretty exciting.  Watch for the launch, check in at the site from time to time to see what changes, and definitely consider them for your photo/video needs!

After launching the new Voodoo Empire homepage, and adding a filesharing service skinned to match, Rev. Voodoo thought it might be cool to build up a new theme for his blog.  That is what you are looking at now!  It still needs some tweaks here and there, but it’s near complete!  It fits in real well with the overall Empire feel.  Now that this site is upgraded, the previous theme will be released to the public very shortly!

It’s time to launch the new site!  It just went live 5 minutes ago, and I pretty much love it!  I’m sure I’ll want to tweak a bit of the css as I look at the site a bit, and I would love to add some more complex functionality to it….but the main portion of the site is done!  Some people may not care for it so much….but I’ve got a certain style, and the design fits me quite well!  Why not check it out here and let me know what you think?

Slowly we are launching our new product line here at the Voodoo Empire.  Next up we have a sweet aluminum water bottle.  These things are great, they are healthier for you, and better for the environment.  This one features the Voodoo Empire’s newest logo design, along with the URL to this very site.  Support us, support the environment, and support your health all at the same time.  Ya gotta dig this!  Check it out now at the Voodoo Empire Shop!

That’s right, it’s time for another batch of Voodoo Empire stickers.  This time around it’s to celebrate the launch of our new website, and of course because stickers are just cool.  We hope to see these on your cars, gear & asses very soon!  Just ask when you see Rev. Voodoo or stop by to get one.

The Voodoo Empire has always offered a wide array of wedding officiating and planning services.  However we have never really advertised before.  We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Wedding Services site complete with a booking form and full information to help people find out about these services and to help them get in touch with us.  Go ahead and check out the Wedding Services site!  It’s new and needs development, but it’s functional!

DJ Odawa’s website just launched. It’s gonna take a little bit to get it up, functional, and musical. But you will wanna keep your eyes on it. www.djodawa.rvoodoo.com is the link. It’s also over in my link section!

After a lot of work, the switch is finished!  I’ve relocated my server from Windows to Linux based.  Although I have more options on Linux based, I am far less familiar with what I can do so things take time.  The basic layout of the site is finished, but I will be adding functionality.  I am not even sure what I’ll be adding, we’ll see together!

You are now able to sign up for this site.  That way you can add posts and comments.  And I can also easily notify you of cool stuff, or when the Rev. is playing out somewhere. 

Next up, I need to update the top of the page.  The current art looks pretty cool, but it’s not mine.  I’d like to change that sometime soon.
