Time for a little DnB madness from the Voodoo Empire!  This is a Limit1 podcast from Ed Rush & Optical, you know its gotta be good!

Well, the Techs and 600 mixer are gone.  I’m gonna miss my babies.  I still have the Vestax VCI-100 usb controller for sale.  I recently listed it on craigslist and ebay for full price, but there’s still time.  I’d really prefer to sell it locally at a discount, and see it get a good home.  It’s gonna make someone real happy.  Same goes for my House and DnB vinyl.  I listed them for full price on craigslist only so far.  But I’d prefer these go to a good home too.  And finally, I keep forgetting to get the info together for my laserscan and DXM controller, but I’m looking to offload those too if anyone is interested.  You can make me an offer on that stuff before I get it together and list them at full price.

Drum and Bass Vinyl for Sale

Posted by Rev. Voodoo under Empire News, Music

Here’s my other lot of records for sale.  65 (technically 70, as there are multidisc sets) pieces of Drum and Bass goodness (Record #44 was removed from lineup as it wasn’t mine).  I’m trying to sell the whole lot at first, I may break the collection up if the lot doesn’t sell.  A DJ bag can be included if wanted.  Price is very negotiable.  I need money and space!  $150 sounds fair as a starting asking point.  List follows:

I just wanted to repost for local folks one last time that all my DJ gear is for sale along with my vinyl.  I haven’t sat down to count the vinyl or get the titles yet, but you are welcmoe to come by and check it out.  Here is the link to the original post with a detailed description.  But a quick breakdown follows:

  • 2 Pioneer 1210m3d turntables that need a bit of work, plus one well used Pioneer DJM600 mixer that works fine but is missing some knobs/faders, plus the transport case with handles and wheels, and 2 functioning Ortofon DJ blue styli that could stand to have new tips.  Asking price is $600.  I have a couple of interested people but I wanted to make sure everyone has seen this
  • 1 Vestax VCI-100, used once, in perfect condition.  This is a sweet USB controller that works perfetly with the Traktor Software included or I’ll give you my copy of Traktor DJ Studio 3 pro.  Asking price is $300.  These go for $400 used on ebay.
  • 2 bags of vinyl, 1 DnB bag, 1 House bag.  With the bags included.  I’m trying to sell each as a lot before I start selling vinyl individually.

All prices are quite negotiable, I need to offload this stuff soon.  If it’s not gone this week, I’m turning to craigslist and ebay.  I hope somebody finds a good home for my stuff!  Next on the chopping block will be lighting.  Probably my scanning intelligent laser and a DXM controller as a package.  I’ll officially post that soon for around $300 I think.  If you are interested before I post, call, email, or text.

It’s been a little bit since we’ve had a Mix of the Moment selection up on the Voodoo Empire.  Rev. Voodoo has been busy mixing and posting personal mixes.  But here’s a little something from the DnB side of things.  It’s an Essential Mix selection from Blame back on Feb. 27, 2009.  Enjoy. Local Selection-Rev. Voodoo

Posted by Rev. Voodoo under Local Selection
revspinnin.jpg Well, it’s been some time since Rev. Voodoo has had a mix of his very own up here.  Here’s a little something something.  It’s none too great really…. somehow the Rev. can only mix live…recording devices are the bane of his existence.  But technical crap aside…the tracks on this mix are pretty darn neat!  (even if one of them is absentmindedly mixed twice).  Enjoy this taste of DnB yum for what it is, and maybe next time you’ll get a tracklist!

It’s time for another Mix of the Moment. And this time it’s some heavy, nasty Drum and Bass from Technikal Itch. It seems the Drum and Bass mixes have been left out of Mix of the Moment selections until now, but this one more than makes up for it. Turn this one up and hold on to something tight, it a serious ride!
