Rev. Voodoo

A couple of weeks ago, we posted up the confirmed artists for this weekend’s DEMF/Movement festival.  That’s right, this weekend.  As in tomorrow!  Can you believe it’s here?  Rev. Voodoo and Ankhjii can’t make it out this year….just too many things not working out for us.  We’ll miss the fest, and we’ll miss all our friends out there.  Hope ya’ll can report back here with some amazing photos!  Anyway, the lineup by day/stage/slot follows here!

It’s that time of the year again, some of us call it D.E.M.F., some call it Movement.  Whatever you call it, this is one amazing festival.  If you haven’t been there before, you need to get there.  It’s unlike any other event, and it’s right in Detroit.  The lineup follows!

Here’s a neat little mix to get us back into the groove again.  It’s not great sound quality, and it’s under 20 minutes long.  But it’s from the recent DEMF that so many of us went to!  I know I was watchin this live, you probably were too!  So enjoy this little music offering, and we’ll have more for you very soon!

Sure Ankhjii and Rev. Voodoo were only able to make it for one night of the festival, but we did get several quality shots.  Ankhjii always gets some really fine shots when she is in charge of the cam, which is 99.9% of the time!  You can peep the photos at our flickr site as always!  There are some cool shots ranging from us, to Carl Cox….so lots for you to enjoy!

Celebration time! Rev. Voodoo has got himself a chauffeur!  Ankhjii took her road test today and aced it on the first try!  This calls for a celebration, and DEMF is right around the corner.  Perfect timing it seems!

It’s that time of the year again.  DEMF or Movement 2008 is about to go down in Detroit.  It takes place at the Hart Plaza right near the Renaissance Center if you are not familiar with the area.  This is always an amazing time and this year the line-up looks like it won’t dissappoint.  If you’ve gone before, you know what to expect.  And if you’ve never been, now is your chance!  Below is a list of confirmed artists by stage.  These are only the artists actually playing the festival proper.  There are many many more artists playing at after parties all over town.  A simple google search will turn up a tonne of options, or you can check the Voodoo Forums for a pretty good list of after parties.
