I was sad! Why? Joe and Charisse are moving away from Ann Arbor! Of course that means my bestest friends are moving even further away…. but to top it off, I thought it would be harder to get hold of this amazing coffee! See, Joe introduced me to this stuff a while back. It’s local, it’s crazy fresh, and it’s crazy good! I would pick a bag up while I was in A2. Why, I just got a bag when I was there for the Water Hill neighbourhood music festival. I got the bag on Sunday, and the beans had been roasted on Friday. Now how’s that for fresh? Anyway … the great news for me, and for you, this coffee is so cool it has its own website – roosroast.com! We all know only the coolest people have websites, right? Anyway, you can buy yourself some of this magic coffee and have it shipped right to you! Yesterday we posted up about the Water Hill Music Festival in Ann Arbor. Joe King realized that we might need a few items to hand out while we are having some fun! Both Joe King and DJ Odawa are going to be playing, and hopefully we will have some fresh mixes that you haven’t heard before available at the fest. But I’m all out of stickers! I threw a design together last night in about 5 minutes. It’s nothing stellar, I was in a serious rush. I needed to get it to the printers before they closed so I could approve a proof if I had any hopes of getting these in time. I went with a smaller 3″ x 3″ size, I got a great deal on them, and I’ve found that more people will actually use the smaller sizes and stick them on stuff! We want our stickers to get some mileage!

There’s no guarantee I’ll have them, The turnaround is normally 10 days, plus shipping – which would normally get them here toward the 8th-1th of May. The festival is on the 6th… the shop is sure they will have them out the door in 5 days, but it’s still a tight timeline! Let’s hope for the best!

Haven’t heard about the Water Hill Music Festival? Check out the link! The come on up to Ann Arbor and spend the afternoon with members of The Voodoo Empire on Sunday, May 6th! You can kick it with is, hear some quality tunes from DJ Odawa, Joe King, maybe myself! Maybe eat a little grub with us, you can bring along some beers – or hit up one of the local stores. There is a lot of quality selection nearby! The Voodoo Empire tunes run from about 3 until 4:30, with the overall music festival running from 2-6pm. Well, I’m at the end of Nutrisystem Month 2, and this month definitely wasn’t as good as the first. A lot of that was my fault however. I did a lot of family dinners, that turned in to full blown cheat days. School wasn’t too difficult last quarter, so I could have a few drinks with Mrs. Yeo and friends. So after 2 months, I’m at 218.4. That’s a total of 22 pounds, making my grand total between 4HB and Nutrisystem 32 pounds. I’m back down to the weight I was when I got out of the nursing home, and the weight I was at the Traband’s wedding (which means my suit will fit well again)!

I’m getting ready to start box 3. I think I’ll do a 3rd month of Nutrisystem, and then take a month or so off, and see how I do on my own. My goal is to get down to my pre-accident weight of 199, I was pretty darned happy with that weight. Hopefully by the end of the summer, I’ll be under 200 pounds. I plan to start riding my bicycle again once the early morning weather is warm enough. Cycling is one of the only exercises I can do well anymore. The accident left me with some hip and back issues, which aren’t too bad if I don’t do anything too crazy. This next month of nutrisystem should be more productive. No holidays coming up in the next month, so no excuses for cheat days. And this quarter class is hella hard, so I don’t have any time to indulge in the boozes. Here’s to a good month!
