Rev. Voodoo

I sure hope I’m not speaking to soon here, but after Team Canada destroyed Russia last night, the possibility is looking quite good for a Canada/USA rematch for the Gold in Men’s hockey.  And, we already have that match up in women’s hockey going on tonight!  The next few days promise to be some very exciting olympic hockey watching!  You know I’ll be watching the women tonight, and keeping a close eye on Friday’s games to see what happens Sunday!  If the rematch happens, you know we’ll be enjoying it Sunday at 3:15pm…..you are welcome to join us!

Tomorrow night, Friday, February 12th is the Opening Ceremonies for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver Canada!  You are welcome to stop by the house around 7pm if you’d like to join us while we watch them.  Bring grub or drinks with ya if you’d like (or even a chair….).  I hope I’m not speaking too soon, but we should have renovations finished in the back rooms.  Unfortunately, I’m nearly certain we will not have time to furnish the rooms….since we don’t actually even own the furniture yet.  Anyway, we hope to see you tomorrow!

There hasn’t been much activity here around The Voodoo Empire lately.  That’s just due to the fact that in every spare moment, Rev. Voodoo and Ankhjii have been renovating.  Granite tile went in yesterday, paint for the past couple weeks, carpet today.  It’s been hectic.  But we really want the rooms done before the get-together!  And that is just one week away folks!  That’s right, next Friday, February 12th is the 2010 Winter Olympics Opening Cermonies.  We are starting things off at about 7pm.  The Ceremonies start at 7:30pm, so you defiitely want to be over by then!  Bring drinks, food, whatever  (we have a stove or grill or whatever if you feel like cooking something).  If you plan on coming, try to let us know….but if you aren’t sure…or decide to come at the last minute, that’s always cool with us!  We hope to see ya next week!

It’s just two weeks from today until the opening ceremonies for the 2010 Winter Olympics.  The opening ceremonies are always so much fun to watch!  Would you like to join us this year to celebrate?  Friday, February 12th we will be having some folks over to watch the cermonies!  We’ll have a bit of drinks and snacks, and of course you are welcome to bring your own!  Plan to attend and have a fun Friday night!  Why not get a hold of one of us and let us know if you plan to attend.  You can comment on any of The Voodoo Empire sites, tweet, facebook, email, text, call…….we are easy to get a hold of!  We hope you’ll join us!

It’s that time again, the Winter Olympics are rolling around!  For those that don’t know, this year they are in Vancouver, Canada.  That means the Canadians will definitely win, of course!   But also, they will be in a decent time zone.  So we’ve decided to have a little get together for the opening ceremonies!  It’ll be Friday, February 12 at 7pm.  Hopefully we will have the renovations we have been working on finished, so we will have a little space in the house!  Bring food, drinks, whatever.  We will also have some drinks, food, and mixers in the house!  We hope to see you there!

Usually we try to start out the summer with our annual backyard bash.  Things have been fairly hectic this year, and so far, we’ve been unable to plan our party.  But things are starting to get back to normal.  So yes, we will be doin our backyard bash!  This year it looks like it’s going to be an end of summer affair.  The date has not been set yet, but it will be announced fairly soon now.  Rev. Voodoo could use a bit of a celebration, and I’m sure the rest of you could too! So stay tuned…..

This seems like it’s really going to go off as a great event in Toledo.  Plan on being there, it will be well worth the cost of admission.  All details are available on the flyer, just click to enlarge.

That’s right, the time has come to join us at Avalon in Downtown Toledo (25 S. Huron St) and check out Rev. Voodoo playin his new teched out progressive house sounds.  Then hang around and enjoy the night with us, and check out the rest of the lineup.   This is the last time I’ll be out I believe until after all the legal stuff is dealt with….so it could be a long time before I play again.  I’d love to see you all out, just in case.

It’s still over a week away, but here’s your advance notice.  Rev. Voodoo will be starting things up at Avalon at 10pm on Wednesday the 15th of April.  Keep your eyes peeled, full details of all artists will be posted soon.  This may be the Rev.’s last outing for a long time….depending on how court goes.  We hope you will come out and say hi, and help Rev. Voodoo and Ankhjii try to relax just a little, and maybe even have fun.  It will also be my first night playing out for all of you with my new laptop and controller combo.  And we will be getting seriously groovy with my tech and progressive house deliciousness.
