Rev. Voodoo

I’m pretty excited to get this mix up on The Voodoo Empire airwaves.  This has been the theme music for my drive home from work for weeks.  Not only that but it was the theme music to Friday night on the Brocation!  We all got quite mad at Pete Tong for talking over this mix and yelled at him quite a bit…… which wouldn’t have been nearly as funny if we hadn’t noticed the guy at the next campground had a truck that said “Tong Lawn Service” on the side of it.  I sure hope his first name wasn’t Pete…… or he spent the night pretty scared.  Anyway, enough talk…let’s get into it.  This is the Pendulum Essential Mix from July 17, 2010.  Pretty brand new, and pretty damn good!  I recommend getting this mix right into a set of good speakers and climbing right inside them!

Well, I always love hosting mixes from Frankie Bones on here.  I stumbled across a sweet link to a variety of great old mixes from a post he made on Facebook.  So here’s a little something from that.  A Frankie Bones live mix from Southern Cali back on April 15, 1995.  Time to turn it up and groove old school!

I haven’t seen any new mixes from Bad Boy Bill in quite some time.  Does anyone even listen to him anymore?  Last I saw/heard him was when he was at DEMF, and his rude ass fans were cheering over Misstress Barbara’s set.  Anyway, this one hasn’t been tested out so I hope the sound quality is decent at least.  I know Bad Boy Bill was one of the first DJs I listened to many years back, him and Frankie Bones…..not so much because its what I liked, more like it was the first stuff I ever heard.  This is Bad Boy Bill live at Mayday 2010 in Dortmund, Germany just the other day, back on April 30th.  Turn it up and lets see what we get!

It’s time for us to pump out some music to all The Voodoo Empire fans once again!  Did a little diggin’ around, lookin for some house to throw up here.  Stumbled across this one by DJ Bryan Jones.  Seems quite a few folks are diggin it.  It’s a promo mix he put together for this year’s WMC.  Speakin of which, anyone make it down to Miami for the WMC this year?  I know I didn’t!  Anyway, dig the mix!
