For those of you who haven’t heard, Max’s mom was in a motorcycle accident very recently.  I don’t know how serious it is, but most motorcycle accidents are pretty serious.  This is definitely an issue that hits real close to home after Ankhjii and I had our accident 2 years ago.  Please keep Max, Steph, his Mom, and the whole family in your thoughts and prayers.  I don’t know what assistance Max may need, but if you feel you have anything to offer that may make this tough time any easier for them, please consider helping out.  I think Max has the cell phone with him, and I know he has popped up on Facebook here and there.  Max, you are loved very much….take care!

Lots of bad things have been going on around the world, we all know that.  Whenever there is an opportunity to help, we try to post up information for you.  Red Cross text links to donate to Haiti, and the flooding down south.  But this time it’s right here at home!  If you want to do something to help after the recent tornadoes here’s your chance.  Here’s a link to a list of various contacts and needs.  You can help clean, you can donate cash or goods, there are many opportunities.  If you have the means, please consider donating your time, money, energy, or whatever you can.

Well, I noticed the forum had no new posts for a bit so I tried to logon to see what the deal was?  Turns out the forums are totally dead.  Not sure what the problem is, all preliminary fixes failed.  So I’ll be spending the next few days trouble shooting.  Have no fear, the forums will be back asap!

A while back we’d posted up a phone number you could text to help with the relief efforts in Haiti.  Well, here’s your chance to help at home.  Of course you are all familiar with the terrible flooding down south, in Tennessee, etc.  Well, you can simply text ‘REDCROSS’ to 90999 to donate $10 to the Red Cross’ flood relief efforts.  Here’s the info from their own site.

Well, some of you are familiar with DJ Odawa’s website at http://djodawa.rvoodoo.com.  Lately the site has been getting more active, it seemed like the best idea to move it to a top level domain.  So, from now on, DJ Odawa’s site is located at http://djodawa.com.  Dig that eh?  We will be workin on the site a bit, trying to get it perfect, but for now……enjoy!

Well, we’ve decided to make the leap.  In trying to simplify my life….I’ve decided to switch over all of The Voodoo Empire’s online assets to being WordPress based.  It’s just what I understand better.  I was having too many problems with the previous forums….and once I did get things fixed, I realized it was too hard to keep relearning various pieces of software.  I know WordPress well enough to be able to fix any trouble….and its user friendly, and just plain works.  I’m pretty active in their support forums trying to help folks whenever I can, and I know I can get the help there I need if I ever do!  So here we have it, The New Voodoo Forums.  The theme isn’t totally complete yet, I’m pretty busy at work…..when I get some time, I’ll finish it up, but it looks pretty good now, and definitely works great!  Hope you enjoy!
