It’s just two weeks from today until the opening ceremonies for the 2010 Winter Olympics.  The opening ceremonies are always so much fun to watch!  Would you like to join us this year to celebrate?  Friday, February 12th we will be having some folks over to watch the cermonies!  We’ll have a bit of drinks and snacks, and of course you are welcome to bring your own!  Plan to attend and have a fun Friday night!  Why not get a hold of one of us and let us know if you plan to attend.  You can comment on any of The Voodoo Empire sites, tweet, facebook, email, text, call…….we are easy to get a hold of!  We hope you’ll join us!

Hey folks, we are in the process of changing over our forums entirely.  Unfortunately everything from the old forums will be lost.  So when we do throw the switch, everyone (who isn’t already a member of http://www.rvoodoo.com) will have to sign back up.  We will be starting over entirely.  For the time being, both forums will be operational…..so we’d appreciate anyone giving this new forum a test drive, and letting us know if they come across any issues.  The theme isn’t quite finished yet….. so you’ll come across some areas with default colours, etc….but that’s no biggie, it’ll get fixed as time allows!  The direct link to the new forum is http://www.rvoodoo.com/forum.

It’s that time again, the Winter Olympics are rolling around!  For those that don’t know, this year they are in Vancouver, Canada.  That means the Canadians will definitely win, of course!   But also, they will be in a decent time zone.  So we’ve decided to have a little get together for the opening ceremonies!  It’ll be Friday, February 12 at 7pm.  Hopefully we will have the renovations we have been working on finished, so we will have a little space in the house!  Bring food, drinks, whatever.  We will also have some drinks, food, and mixers in the house!  We hope to see you there!

Rev. Voodoo just stumbled across a few discussions on the Wordpress Forums about setting up post thumbnails.  This is obviously a very cool feature, and we set about integrating it immediately into our theme.  You can enjoy the results on this very post.  While that is cool and all, it got us thinking.  We already include nice updates from the blog over on our main Voodoo Empire homepage…. but this new feature allows us to incorporate photos on that page real easily…..a feature that was not available to us previously.  It definately adds a touch more interest to the blog updates over there!

If this works, it’ll add thumbnail support automatically to the theme in a couple of places.  Nice, tidy resizing.  Lets see!
