Rev. Voodoo

The House music has been quite enjoyable to play lately.  There are many good tracks coming out, and the Rev.’s new controller makes mixing the newest tracks so easy and fun.  This mix is pretty enjoyable, although every time Rev. Voodoo makes a mix, a new lesson is learned.  On this one the lesson was to turn off my background programs before mixing, unless we all want to hear nice digital glitches when spybot or the virus program auto-start scans.  The glitches are minor and the music is enjoyable, turn this one up.  Tracklist is below.

Well, it’s been quite a while since Rev. Voodoo has played around with some quality Tech or Progressive House.  So here’s a mix for the folks who have been missing it.  It’s about half good!  As has been mentioned here previously, the Rev has troubles when recording….and this set is no different.  But deal with it!  The tracks are real nice, and there are a good variety here, not to mention some Voodoo Empire Exclusives.  Below is even included a semi-complete tracklist.

Well, as the Rev sits here waiting for another appontment a question comes to mind. How can one doctor continually schedule 15 people for appointments at the same time and hope to accomplish anything but making people angry?

The Voodoo Empire has released it’s first track.  Rev. Voodoo’s Voodoo Acid Test is here for your listening pleasure.  It’s a bit of departure from the normal club music.  This goes back to the Reverend’s roots a little, sort of an 80s clanging Industrial vibe to this track.  It may be a bit rough, but it’s a first cut.

Well, it’s been some time since Rev. Voodoo has had a mix of his very own up here.  Here’s a little something something.  It’s none too great really…. somehow the Rev. can only mix live…recording devices are the bane of his existence.  But technical crap aside…the tracks on this mix are pretty darn neat!  (even if one of them is absentmindedly mixed twice).  Enjoy this taste of DnB yum for what it is, and maybe next time you’ll get a tracklist!

Well let’s try this again.  Rev. Voodoo had already returned to work once about a month ago.  But then another surgery came along and another month off was needed.  But now that that’s all done it’s time to try to get back to normal life.  It’s kind of hard getting back to work after 7 months of laying around.
