Surgery Was A Success

Posted by Rev. Voodoo under Life, Voodoo Style

Rev. Voodoo is back home and living comfortably with his lady.  Yesterday’s procedure was a success, which also means that the last major reconstructive surgery was a success.  That means that Rev. Voodoo is finally bagless!  Barring any unforseen circumstances, there should only be one more procedure to undergo, and finally this whole long ordeal will be done.  It’s been a long hard road, we thank you all for your support.

Rev. Voodoo is just gettin ready to head to DMC Harper Hospital for yet another surgery. How many is this? Honestly, we’ve lost count. However this is a minor outpatient procedure…that will hopefully leave Rev. Voodoo with no more external hardware. We shall see.

Rev. Voodoo isn’t exactly sure what is wrong with his American friends……but it has come to his attention that many of his Yankee friends don’t even know the Hip.  SRSLY?  Here is one of their first hits from before many of you were gleams in your daddy’s eyes……this band is still destroying on tour and album sales…. dig in will ya.  Please enjoy.

R.I.P. Ginger

Posted by Rev. Voodoo under Life, Voodoo Style

ginger.jpg It’s a bit of a sad day for Rev. Voodoo.  His parents dog Ginger is approaching the end of her life.  Ginger has been a giant, wonderful dog who has beaten the odds for so long.  She was a rescue puppy who was born with many health problems and was supposed to live a very short life, however with lots of love and junk food, she lived a long, plump and happy life.  Rev. Voodoo wishes his folks the best, and will miss Ginger very much.

The Voodoo Empire tries to bring you a good combination of fresh new mixes, along with the classics.  This mix is real timely….it’s the Valentine’s Day Transitions radio show from John Digweed.  Enjoy.

As sad as it makes Rev. Voodoo to say this, he won’t be able to make it to Avalon tonight.  Due to another major surgery, with long painful healing time, Rev. Voodoo isn’t leaving the couch.  I hope everyone enjoys the event, it’s gonna really be dope!

chloe_harris.jpg It’s been rough around the Voodoo Empire lately, so we figured maybe it was time to just chill out a little.  And a sweet mix from Chloe Harris will definately help with that goal.  Enjoy, and relax a little.

Surgery is Over, Rev. Voodoo Survived

Posted by Rev. Voodoo under Uncategorized

It’s late, and Rev. Voodoo was layin in bed at Harper hospital unable to sleep when he remembered his new mobile software. The surgery was apparently a smashing success and Rev. Voodoo should be totally tubeless in 3 weeks. Of course the positives are hard to think of when one is laying in bed in the worst pain ever. And if any of you go on to become medical professionals please break ths cycle. At nearly every hospital or facility the Rev has been to, there is always someone who won’t bring you any pain medicine for hours, because that would make them deviate from their rounds and have to walk farther. If this sounds like something you would do, please think twice, maybe become a bartender, but stay out of the healthcare industry.
