Rev. Voodoo is just testing a new smart phone app on his phone that allows easy mobile updates for The Voodoo Empire.

What are your plans for Valentine’s Day?  This February 14th be sure to grab your sweetie and head to Avalon in Toledo.  Seems there is a party going on there, and Rev. Voodoo will be droppin’ some sounds once again.  Full details will be posted here very soon, keep your eyes open for that, and plan to attend!

Don’t forget ya’ll.  Tonight is the night Rev. Voodoo makes his post-accident comeback at the Bronze Boar.  The Voodoo Empire is gonna keep you movin all night.  DJ Odawa opens the night at 10pm, then it’s Rev. Voodoo’s turn on the wheels.  But hang on, next up is special guest Matt Boyd from Columbus, OH throwing down his house sounds.  And wrapping things up we have DJ Simplicity.  Come on out and show some support for the scene, for the Voodoo Empire, and for everyone!

Misstress Barbara is one of Rev. Voodoo’s favourite DJs, and has been featured by the Voodoo Empire here several times.  But this mix is near and dear to our hearts.  It’s from the 2007 Movement / D.E.M.F. festival in Detroit, MI.  Several members of the Voodoo Empire were present for this set, and the picture shown here was taken by Ankhjii.  The quality isn’t so great on this recording, but the set is great.  Enjoy!

That’s right, Rev. Voodoo is coming out of his shell on January 17th at 11pm.  The Voodoo Empire’s very own DJ Odawa has a weekly event at the Bronze Boar in Toledo called Lust, and he has set the stage for Rev. Voodoo’s return, after months of general yukkiness.  Come out and be a part of this great event, and why not think about checkin this event out every week?  Every week there are great special guests, and you know you’ll have a great time!  The Bronze Boar is located at 20 S. Huron St. in Toledo Ohio…that’s right downtown.  Come on out and have a good time, support your local musical community, and say hi to Rev. Voodoo.
