Rev. Voodoo

Everything coming from James Zabiela has been golden lately, that’s why it’s a surprise he hasn’t been featured on the Mix of the Moment much earlier.  But it sure was worth the wait.  Here is a true Zabiela set from the Sunday Night Sleaze show on 05-08-2008.  It’s technical, dirty, and bumpin.

Some time ago, Rev. Voodoo and his special lady were watching the Fine Living Network.  One of our favourite shows was on, The Thirsty Traveler.  Now this show has educated us on many various boozes, but one episode was about Maple Liquors.  This concept intrigued the Rev., and the search began.  After much googling, Sortilege was stumbled across, but the battle had just begun.  See, this stuff is made in Quebec and is rather hard to find in the U.S.A.  But after emails to numerous booze brokers, we did it.  We got our hands on 2 lovely bottles of Sortilege, and they are amazing.  It tastes just like maple syrup and whisky ought to.  It’s golden liquid perfection!

Well, this is it!  The Voodoo Empire Online Shop has gone live!  Why not stop by and check it out?

 

Currently the shop is being stocked with Rev. Voodoo’s art.  Some of the pieces may be a bit pricey for some folks, but they are the Rev.’s favourite pieces with a lot of emotion behind them.  Also, there is a section for buying custom made to order pieces. 

 

Next on the agenda is going to be a line of Voodoo Empire Clothing.  Work is underway on that.  And after that may be some custom handmade jewelry from the Voodoo Empire High Priestess Herself, Ankhjii!

 

Just a reminder, the shop is open for sales to anyone!  Just get a hold of the reverend.  Use the contact form on here or on the shop if you have no other way to get a hold of Rev. Voodoo.  The shop can handle whatever you have, we are more than happy to add new categories to suit your needs!  Secondhand stuff, art, music CDs, music downloads, file downloads, whatever you have!

 

There are a few finishing touches left to be put on the shop but the functionality is in place, why not get it going!

Well, in the interest of keeping the Rev. occupied, and also to keep things here fresh www.RVoodoo.com may be getting a facelift.  So if you log on in the next little bit and notice things look a little off, please be patient.  Since the Rev. is a coding hack, it may take a little while to get everything just right.  But no matter what the functionality will be there.  So continue to enjoy the site with no fear as the change takes place!

It seems lately some folks have been running into trouble trying to stay signed in at www.RVoodoo.com, especially when trying to leave comments.  After some experimenting it seems this only happens if you are not using Internet Explorer.  Now Rev. Voodoo would never tell you to use IE as your browser, we at the Voodoo Empire use Firefox.  But for the time being, if you want to leave a comment or write a post, you may have to sign in using IE until things are smoothed out.

Well, lately the Rev. has been living a bit of the good life and neglected to upload a mix for a bit.  Here is the new one, and it’s real nice.  It’s from the Connected live show and it’s a mix by Sharam from Deep Dish.

Those of you who have visited the Voodoo Empire for any amount of time are already familiar with the lovely Miss Blue’s artwork from Ankhjii’s gingko tattoo.  It seems one of the Voodoo Empire’s best friends just got a new tattoo from his wife….the amazing Miss Blue. Here’s a pic of it.  Why yes….that is the Rev. Voodoo logo.  Atom Bomb is the first member from the Voodoo Empire family to brand himself for life!  It’s quite beautiful…Now wait and see who’se next!

Coming relatively soon, the Voodoo Empire will be opening it’s online shop.  The shop will sell CDs, Music Downloads, Original Art, Clothing, Jewelry, and whatever else we decide to create.  The site is online now in sandbox mode, and is being constantly developed.  You are welcome to check it out and follow along with the progress.  Along with selling Voodoo Empire creations, the shop is an opportunity for anyone else with things to sell.  If you are interested just get ahold of Rev. Voodoo using the contact form on this site, or in person.  There are no seller fees for friends, and anyone else, we can work something out!
